On August 20th, nearly 80 attendees were on hand for the unveiling of NYN’s new on-line video based webinar service, the VIEW. The VIEW (Video Interactive Educational Webinar) system will enable the state university system, as well as state government agencies and businesses to provide a media-rich training experience for members of their staff without the need for travel. This next generation of webinar gives viewers the ability to watch and participate in a “live” presentation that includes synchronized video and graphics, along with an interactive chat feature. All of the participants present at the event were treated to a first hand look at the product, which included a live demonstration, a Q&A session with technical experts, and a sneak peak at some of the more advanced media management features of the system.
