Miralite Retune using front panel

This procedure would be used for those who can’t locate their remote control to perform the retuning process. 

Start by pushing the “MENU/ESC” button.  Your TV/Monitor will display a menu bar seen here.

Next, push the “CH/Arrow Down” button to highlight “System” in yellow. Then push the “Mute/Select” button.  This will automatically bring you to the next menu, and “Setup” should already be highlighted in yellow.  Go ahead and push the “Mute/Select” button once again, and a new screen will appear.

The first line of this screen should read “Record Number” with “0” highlighted in blue to the right. If it does not read “0”, press the “Volume/Right” key repeatedly until “0” is selected.

Next, press the “Channel/Down arrow” button 3 times so that the “DownLink Frequency” number is highlighted. During this process you will need to change one number at the time. This is done by using the “Right/Vol Arrow” to move to the next digit and the “Up/Arrow” to change the number.

With the “DownLink Frequency” number highlighted, press and release the “Left/Vol Arrow” button.  Number “0” will appear.

Next, press the “Up/Arrow” to change the number to “1”. Then, press the “Right/Vol Arrow” so that you move to the next digit position. Then, press the “Up/Arrow” to change the second number in the Down Link Freq to “4”. Continue to move to the right for digit position and up for the number until you have entered the new frequency of  1 4 2 7 0 0 0.
Now, press the “Left/Arrow” button which will lock that number in place.

Next, press the “Down Arrow” button once to highlight the “Symbol Rate” number in blue. Then press and release the “Left/ Vol Arrow”. Number “0” will appear. Next, press the “Up/Arrow” to change the number to a “2”. Next, press the “Right/Vol.” arrow so that you move to the next digit position, and then press the “Up/Arrow” to change the second digit of the Symbol Rate to “0”. Continue to move to the right for digit position and up for the number until you have entered the new Symbol Rate of
2 0 5 0 0.  As before, press the “Left Arrow” button to lock the number in place when completed.

 At this point, you should have entered a Downlink Frequency of 1427000, and a Symbol Rate of 20500.

If you made an error entering a number correctly, you can use your “Up or Down” arrow buttons to highlight that number, press and release the “Left Arrow” button (which will display a “0” ) and try again. 

Press the “Mute/Select” button.

Your TV/Monitor will display “Searching For Programs”. After a few moments the New York Network color bars should appear with a running time clock, and the yellow “LOCK” light should be lit on the front panel of the receiver indicating a signal lock.
